ABOUT THE MAYPOLE INN
Originally named the Star Inn, the Maypole Inn dates back to 1880, when it was under the ownership of William Day. The Star Inn was originally a Cider House and remained so until the mid 1970's when The Green Dragon, the Public house in Thurloxton, closed.

The Maypole Inn prides itself in serving traditional English meals and, wherever possible, use locally produced Somerset meat and seasonal vegetables. FUNCTIONS The function room at the Maypole Inn is available for private hire. We offer individually tailored days for meetings and any party plans. Weddings are always welcome and again we tailor the whole day to the customers wishes. Our function room can hold up to 50 people for sit down dinners and as a meeting room in board room style it can hold up to 30.
